My Little Life in Gabon

Tomorrow starts the countdown to the new year Hello everyone. i am sharing with you my little life in my hometown. Libreville, little town. capital city of Gabon. The rules\laws concerning the pandemic is very much active here too and there is less to do outside. especially in a small town like mine. Yes, it can be boring at times... *** I am glad i published my book before 2022. I am done with it I am now almost done with the apartment renovation. It's basic stuff knowing that it is difficult to keep a place next to the sea. Humidity is the number one issue but overall, I am glad it will be good next week. It will be for renting purposes. That's for people who want to be in town for touristic or business purpose. They can stay few weeks, months in Libreville. Meanwhile i have started working on my family house (where I grew up) Renovation of that place requires a lot of more money, work and time. I am changing most of the style. The house was built in the late 80's. I was a little girl. So guess how much of the work i must do. There are 4 bedrooms and another one that was used as an office to my late Dad. He liked to spent his time there and kept all his documents. I might change it for something else... I am making some modifications. it cost more. Well, we will see. i hope to be done by early next year. **** So how has been 2021? i hope to share it with you in the next post. I am honestly not feeling like having a new year party. not in the mood of that sort especially with that pandemic climate. I just want to stay home with my son and nothing else. **** My vision board for 2022 must be effective. Time is getting short. I need to do more important things in my life. let's see what 2022 has for me. No need to do the same thing. Same words, same habits. no need to talk a out new resolutions let's just make things happen. *** I want to thank Almighty God for taking care of me and my family. I am thankful I am still here. Even if i didn't see my mom, my sisters and brothers for a while. i hope to see them next year. Thank you for reading see you next year. Happy New Year.

How Far is This America🇺🇸

Whenever I see the statue of Liberty, my heart is moved. My God, so much meaning, so much history. Gift, talent, the people...This is a masterpiece. I am in love with that statue.I have respect for what it stands for. It gives me so much love for this country. America the beautiful Ok. so the title of my book is "How Far is this America" The book is out in Amazon. It took me longer than I thought because of all the turns and situation I went through: 1/ Lost of the manuscript 2/ Moving and trips 3/ Gave birth to my son (with a difficult recovery of C section) 4/ family matters and work 5/ I had to re write everything again from the beginning (in French first then in English later) 6/ Translation and editing on my own 7/ Mom duties

* * * * English is not my language so I had to review and review on my own. It takes time in both French and English. I did more work than the previous book. I felt compelled to write a story on immigration. But there is more to that. America is a great country. America has a great History. I have always been impressed by it. My father loved that country very much from personal experience. America gave so much to people coming to start a new life. It gave hope to those who lost it. America gave a second chance. I am not talking about politics and politicians here because that's another story which I am not interested to talk about. I am talking about America, the people who made that country great. Because We are Humans

Few days ago my nephew saw me crying in front of this song. I can't explain why whenever I listen to the lyrics and watch the video clip of this song my heart break into pieces. He asked me: " what's wrong Tata Laetitia?" (Tata is a sweet way to say auntie) I tried to explain to him how important it is to respect and like every people. You don't know everyone'story. We must be compassionate because we are humans. People leave their country not because they necessarily want to do it but some political, economical, social reasons. They usually engage in some extremely dangerous means of transportation such as crowded 🚢 ships. not safe at all. Some unsafe trucks and they end up sadly dying. Like sinking in the sea etc. The despair, the hope for a better tomorrow. Today we see so many things happening around us but tonight I want you to think about people in some part of the world who are going through a lot. They chose to leave their families for a better tomorrow. I cannot say that they intentionally choose to leave everything and their beloved ones. This is not an easy decision at all. Nobody can blame someone who dream about a better life because we are humans. It is so painful to leave your land, your family, your friends, your neighborhood, your pets and go to the unknown. Of course everybody doesn't leave their country because they feel oppressed but there are always some reasons that push them to do it. The song clearly talks about a man who is ready to leave everything: his village, his friends, what he has built and even his wife to go to a better country (that looks like America). He wants to leave because he has no voice in his country, he has no opportunities, he feels miserable. He is in search of the respect of Human Rights, his dignity as a man. He feels like his dream are taken away from him. He wants to live and be able to provide for his wife. But his wife doesn't want him to go because they are still young and they can start a family. They just got married what about their dreams together as a couple? Besides, he doesn't even know the future. The man has already made up his mind. He is leaving and that's it...His wife is not supporting his decision . she feels sadly in pain but she still going to watch him leave. That story is heartbreaking really. Some people go through the same situation. May God give strength to men and women who are going through this difficult times of their lives. Whenever I listen to that song my heart is sad. Because we are humans first. we need to be compassionate. "Labas" is a well known French song. Jean Jacques Goldman is one of the greatest French composers. This is a timeless masterpiece. Whenever I listen to it, I cry...

America has always been the place where people dreamed to go. A place where people foresee a better life. I truly love this country because America has welcomed millions of people to give them a chance. God Bless America the land of the Free. Please I am not talking here about the politics and so on. I talk about the people, the country. I have met so many nice people in America. May God bless you guys. May God bless America for giving opportunities and dream to those who could not dream anymore in their own country. May God bless the American flag for its History. Brave men and women shed their blood and vision to make this country great. Brave men and women made that country a possibilty of hope for others. This is what I was talking about few months ago in my older post "Victimization and the Racism card" When real case of racism will occur nobody will trust you anymore because some people used it too much in the wrong way and played with it. You don't play with Hate crime. You do not divide people. You do not divide a country. You don't do that. Something didn't add up when the story first came out.Now see?

I followed the story a while ago. The only thing that come out of it is: "why o why?" Why doing it? Well let's see what's going to happen after that. One thing may be sure is Jussie Smolett's acting career is over. He was found guilty on multiple counts in hate crime hoax. And by the way he accused Trump supporters of this and that. Why? Why doing such things? (sigh) Anyway. The other question is what is BLM's thought on it now? It will be interesting to know what they think about it since according to them the oppressed are us Blacks and the "oppressors" are the others (I won't put it here) I agree that in cases of politics applied in some countries in Africa for instance, there is oppression. Internal and external oppression but you have to carefully observe things around. I can't go too much into details on that. But as an individual? This is going too far now. I am just curious to see what they have to say about such lie. I still believe that All Lives matter. God cares about every lives. I think we need to talk about it with honesty. We, Blacks who have good sense should denounce such nonsense because it won't help us. We can't live stuck in the past. The History of the past. I repeat again: I believe that racism exists (in both sides btw) but the way some people use the word racism today worries me. I tell my young sister that when a story comes to you ALWAYS SEARCH FOR THE FACTS. Do not only follow your EMOTION. Sometimes your emotion can be right in some cases but not often.The role of the media and people like that or manipulative person is to pull on your heartstrings. Be always carefull when you hear something. i do not say I am perfect in searching facts and managing my emotion but I learn to do it. With time I learned that it is important to always do your research. Even when someone comes to you with his story makes sure that his story is true. We must alwyas ask the right questions. I learned it over time unfortunately after many deceptions and betrayals. Also, Thank you Sky News Australia. Always on point for news report. I like your work.

Our World is Changing...

I wish the young generation understood that quote from MLK. It is clear right? but, unfortunately... If i was asked what are the criteria for hiring a person in MY Personal business, I would respond: the content of his character and his skills NOT his race , if I was asked what are the reasons that make me friend with someone, I would respond: the content of his character as a matter of fact do not bring me discussion about Races. I don't need it. We should accept each other based on what we are not the color of our skin. I believe we all have different characters, some people are simply mean, some people are disrespectful, some are manipulators they like taking advantage of others weakness . it has Nothing to do with being Black or white. it is simply the who we are as a person. like there are people who are good heart, positive, humble,loyal, honest and courageous like the young man I watched in the interview below I hope people wil not politiCize it too. Someone should simply enjoy his freedom. When that story first happened, I followed a little bit the media coverage and again they failed to report the facts exactly. Actually they did what they always do, twisting the story to create outrage and anger as usually. And always some people who never try to fact check eveeything, bite to it. I don't understand how some people are easily manipulated. I mean...(sigh) how much of proof do they need to understand what is happening behind the scene? By the way Honestly, at 17 years old I don't think I could be so involved to protect my neighborhood. At 17 it takes a lot to do it especially when your city is burning down and you have many people angry breaking stuffs and businesses. At 17 years old most of my friends and I were doing what teens do. Without looking at his race or skin color or whatever, the first time I saw the video, I saw a young man defending himself. He could have been easily killed by his attackers. Thanks to God and his courage he survived the attack but... As always some people are mad and I am like... They protest his acquittal. I mean... does it mean that they are angry at self defense? or... his race or...like really I don't get it.l anymore. have you ever been in a classroom where you see a student or some students always contesting what the teacher says or teach. And when the teacher explains with all the facts, that student keep contesting the explanation based on nothing. Then, you , the other classmates are getting annoyed. You shake your head, you just want him to please shut up at this point because it is getting nowhere and he is actually getting stupid You tell me... Some influencers and activists brought the racist theory as usual. seriously Jesus please teach them Love they desperately need it. Seriously if i enter a discussion with someone and that person brings out of the sudden the racial theory without strong facts and evidence. I will smile and i will just politely tell him that i am done with that discussion

. I agree and I know for fact that there are racist people out there and we can do nothing about it but again EVERYBODY IS NOT NECESSARILY or SYSTEMATICALLY RACIST for God sake! and btw White and Black can both be racist. What even saddens more is when you see some White folks encouraging this nonsense. You guys should not encourage those attitude bc end of the day it is not written on your forehead if you like Black people or not. They will judge you by your race and Not the content of your character. There will be no exception unless they personally know you. They might treat u the same way. so encouraging it and supporting it will not necessarily put you aside. They will look you the same way. so please... These people need some pills a new medication named "Racialieve" It is going to be a new discovery. it will help some people who see systemic racism everywhere to feel relieved. the relief to racial pain and to remove that stress. it will calm the person down and the nervous system. So one pill day and night before sleeping . And you will smile to humankind.

This young man is brave and really care about others. I hope he will sue the people and the media who changed and twisted the narrative. It was unfair... this is insane!

The Real Face of Democrats

O my...I wish I could stop talking and sharing about all this political nonsense. God help me. Please, please, please.

First, I precise that I like that song and his performances. It just came into my mind and I wanted to share it with you Second, I am sorry if sharing it here offends you. it is just a way to make that post less harsh since. I can't describe enough my disappointment mixed with sadness. I think it is important to seriously protect our children and teach them the way. ( according to God) As I was sipping my hot chocolate this morning, I fell into this article. I was like Huh?! Hold on! No! wait a minute! That has to be a Joke! please please please read it but you can as well do your own research on that matter. Maybe I got all that wrong. Maybe someone can explain it to me better.

Today I look at my anti Trump friends and I say nothing. people are quiet now they can't explain that. They told me on the election day that Biden was better. than Trump. See what shines isn't necessary gold. They voted for the team because they said they wanted to see a Black woman in an important position. But see like I said in a previous post it is not about what u look but the quality and the ability. the competency and the skill. See? You kept trying to show them the red flags and say maybe Donald Trump isn't the best but I am sure he is better than the coming administration. Now see?

Today you have the duo Biden/ Harris. Whenever these two open their mouth, you scratch your head. Honestly how are they doing so far? They can't handle properly the border crisis. and other things. People were angry when Trump said build the wall. Seriously my question to them was : Why are you mad at a leader who wants to protect his people and his country. I don't get your anger. Is it bad to ask to people to enter in normal port entries? I know you can't control such things but we know that America welcomed many refugees. It is another legal way to enter too and btw I saw how America takes good care of those who came on refugee status. ( Why going so far? There is a congresswoman I won't put her name here, who went in America under this status if I got it right and see? She lives the American dream today right?) Ok, Then let's all go illegally to America people! why not? Papa Joe is paying for us doing it. Well, it is time to do it people. thanks to the new administration. lol!! I am not criticizing just observing...

Now look, the mask is falling. now look the real Face of Democrats. they worry first and more for illegal immigrants than their own people. They are READY TO PAY REPARATION for people who intentionally broke the laws by illegally entering their country knowing the consequences. Look, I have Nothing against illegal immigrants, I think every people have the Right to dream of freedom, better life. the right to live safe and you can't control that need but I also understand that there are consequences on illegal immigration. Encouraging it isn't a way to create more tension in your country? create more division, xenophobia and anger? No wonder why people will hate immigrants even if they didn't come the same way. You know there are always ignorant people but the frustration can make people mix everything in their head it is basically like saying: " Congratulations! you who crossed the borders illegally, we are going to helo you as for you there entering the normal port entries legally sorry you guys are just a bunch of..." If you know the stress they make us go through at the international airport when you go to America. They ask you sp many questions to the point where u end up questioning yourself. It is Scary dear!; But we take it because that's the legal way to enter. Dear Democrats, then Why we, legal immigrants MUST GO THROUGH ALL These difficult laws, documentation and procedures to enter and live in your country spending so much money ( yes my Son is American, he won't go through all that but I talk about my own experience and I recently wrote a book on that matter)

Many legal immigrants will tell what it is. I will post the translated book in English soon and I might share a review on it. Then on the other side someone can just decide to break the laws enter illegally the border of the U.S and get REPARATION for violating the laws. I think about all the American people who are working so hard for their country's economy. I think about the U.S men and women in uniform (and their families) who are going overseas to fight for freedom and their flag. and I am thinking about all the legal immigrants who participate to make that country great. Dear Democrats you worry so much about Race and racial issues. Since you want to pay REPARATION for illegal immigrants because families have been separated, please think about Black America, during slavery. millions of families were separated for years! starting from Africa. They were intentionally separated btw. so maybe you can do something about it. I Think about Native Americans. o yes! I think they need that REPARATION first. I think about Asian Americans who were separated when after Pearl harbor some of them were sent back when they didn't have any more ties there. Things were taken from them as well. They were peacefully living and working in and for America when suddenly after Pearl harbor they were accused of being spies. Let's be fair for everyone. The mask is falling. This is the real face of the left. It is not about America first. or Americans first. it is about others first. You are the political party who always use the racial cards. You worry so much about racial issues and I applaud you for that now please please please, show us the love. As for me, judging on that hypocrisy, I think we need Orange Man back. There is No More Freedom of Speech

I am scared and I am worried about this new world in which we are living in. My question today is: Is there any freedom of Speech again? maybe my question isn't written in a correct English but seriously I am worried. Looking at the way someone can be treated by just standing for what he believes in or what he can just be saying and what he thinks. I thought dictatorship was just something found in some non developed countries like mine. I am shocked to see that the western world who always wanted to portray the ideology of Freedom such as freedom of choices, freedom of religion, freedom of speech and so on are now the one seeming to shut down that Human Rights. I find it quite disturbing. I am confused...With all those philosophical books writting to teach about humans relations, how we should be living etc. They wanted us to look the western world as an example and leader in many things and now today, they lock people up, they force you to wear masks. How do you eat and smile? Today , they control what people must think and say. Ok! can someone explain to me what's going on? Just to name few examples: Looking at the way people are forced to get covid vaccine or else you are fired from your job. I mean if people support women when it comes to abortion ( I am pro Life btw) They say "my body, my choice" why this same argument can't be applied for the vaccine? Some people say bc they can contaminate others. So why wearing mask again and practice barrier measures when u are already vaccinated? Can someone explain to me this thing better please? I need to understand. I am not educated on that matter. if I am not sure of how my body will react why should I take the vaccine? if it is ok to make a choice of killing an innocent life who cannot plead in Court With a lawyer on his side for his life ( whereas a serial killer can still say he is innocent and have a lawyer defending his case while the innocent unborn baby can say nothing and must accept a death penalty) I understand nothing about this world anymore. I am seriously confused because yes, some people who have been vaccinated can still contract COVID. does it make any sense?? I am lost. Looking at the way some people will focus on race, racial this and racial that. Let me tell you something, people who take too much time talking and thinking about races are actually hidden racist people. If you carefully listen to them you will get my point. they are racists with some complex issues of either superiority or inferiority. If you belong to God you should understand that God does care about salvation of the souls and not Races. As a matter of fact, the Bible doesn't really tell a lot about Jesus Christ's skin color. Humans are the only one making many speculations because what matters to them is what is outside whereas God looks what is inside. Who cares what color of skin Jesus was living in?

What matters is what He does for humankind on the cross. Race is not a discussion that God will certainly enter in. He will only asked Are you saved? He created different skin colors and races on purpose. let's accept and love our differences please! can we? We can make some hypothesis about how he looked like but we are not 100% sure. Just know that No one is perfect. We all have mean people in families, in countries, in neighborhoods and in races. Also, We all have good people in families, in communities, in neighborhoods, in countries and in races. I will never be the devil's Agent to spread anger , hatred and division. If in the same household, siblings from same mom and dad, we can have different personalities why not seeing the same thing when it comes to race? i don't get it! Nobody brings that discussion in my house. My parents never raised me to see racial differences. If someone bring that in my house, I will ask him or her to leave and go divide somewhere else Looking at the way some people are treated when they express and explain their religious beliefs. Christianity is the one mostly mocked and ridiculed eventhough the gospel of Jesus Christ teaches peace, forgiveness and love. Nowadays, if you even try to mention what the Bible says about a certain lifestyle, they call you haters and say you are judging them. But it is not you but the Word of God that says such and such. They want you to bend to their way of seeing life and put God aside knowing perfectly that after death you will have to face Him and be accountable for your action. Again, I am not judging, I am just trying to live up to what God expect me to do. I am not judging , I am not perfect. i can show you what the Bible says exactly on such and such. But no, they will throw stones at you because you're just trying to share the words.People will come up with many theories to justify one's actions when it is already said what God thinks on that matter. At the end of the day your thoughts against what God says will not remove the fundamental Truth. Jesus is the Way, the Truth, the Life. Now go complain where you want He is still sitting on the Throne you like it or not. and Gosh! we humans are difficult! People can no longer speak freely anymore. Before making a statement, they must kind of think and think then, apologize several times before saying something. like bending to get approval from Who!? the "They". The They who Decide what to say It is crazy! People died for us to use freely this freedom of speech and now some groups are like : " we will give it to you only if you say what we want to hear" Really now? We are going backwards? Looking at the way some people focus too much on race and see systemic racism everywhere. now we are living in fear of saying something. If you dare make a constructive comment on someone who has a specific color of skin, you can get in trouble even when the world can see you are right. Now I can't stop laughing thinking about that hypocrisy. wow! no comment. if you have for instance a certain or a different view about a social matter, or politics, you become a threat to...I don't know who. Wow! Wake up! can't you see things don't make any sense. Bob Marley back in the days sang a song starting with "get up,stand up.Stand up for your rights..." ok that was back then but...are we still on tne same issues today? that's pretty shocking to me So my look today is about what recently happened on the headlines. Again, freedom of speech isn't something to expect anymore. We are all different but it seems like this world wants us to be exactly the same. thinking the same, doing the same...I mean there are some groups ( I won't name them here bc maybe blogger will cancel again another post from this blog) who have the power to cancel you. There is a bad wind, there is a movement associated with the media today that make the world going into a very strange direction. I am worried... I am sitting here, reading the news every day and I am like wow! no comment. I prefer to say nothing but I close this short post with something to think about
