"Being Every Woman!"

A post for women only!
It's about my personal opinion, my personal experiences...
I simply love this picture of Ashanti
"Look for the woman in the dress. If there is no woman there is no dress"
Coco Chanel
When I decided to write something about "Being Every Woman" I wanted to share what I have learned with time as a woman. Away from the idea of being a thinker or the perfect person. When I was a teenager my mom gave me a serie of books to read. Those books were about everything that a grown up girl is supposed to know in order to become an "accomplished woman." The manuals taught what a woman is  supposed to know: For instance how to take care of a house, to organize the household etc. To me,the fact is the real way to learn something is to live it and experience it  yourself  because I read the books and they certainly made sense to me but they were not enough. I had to live and understand life myself.

About Being a Mother (In the future)
To me living away from my parent for years was a difficult experience and it really had a strong impact in my life.  I left my country at the age of 10 or 11 years old I had to learn life really fast in a country with another culture that I had no clue of. I had to understand things fast because adult people would always take advantage of your innocence or naivety. I give an example: While being at the dormitory I was not happy to live away from my mum and the little times that I saw my dad, I negotiated with him that I wanted to go back home but he objected many times my request. I only had the option to touch my mum's heart who could maybe help in my return back home. It never happened because later I found out that all my letters were never sent all the year and the people who  I trusted didn't send them on purpose. In my letters I explained to my mum how was the treatment, my life and how the pocket money they (mum and dad) were sending to me were used by them  (My dad paid all the other expenses and usually left more for my personal needs). However, I didn't give up writing until I found a way to send the letters on my own through some classmates ... When I went back home years later I was already hurt.
When you experienced such painful things you understand that being a parent is not only feeding, clothing sending your child or children to school but it is also be there when they need you the most. From that experience I promised to myself I will never let my children away from me. (This is my personal experience)
Therefore I must be a  mother who no matter what will stand on the side of my children... There are some decisions that we make which seem to be the best for everybody can be painful for children and tomorrow they will not be enough explanation to dress the wound. I know best because I lived with this pain for years and it took me times to forgive until I became a christian adult because I could not understand at all.

About Life in General:
What you expect sometimes doesn't happen the way you want or hope it will happen. I remember in my early age I heard people always saying that you don't plan life. It's God who must do things because it's pretentious to do so. This philosophy is even worst among some Christians (Sorry I am Christian too but I have to be honest. These are the things that mislead people) Today I will say No! Totally false and it is false humility because God will never do things for you unless you have already made a clear plan of your life. You need to plan your life that's the truth! You must write  your goals, your dreams  and your projects there is nothing wrong with it. God can give you ideas in your thoughts but He will never tell you how they will happen. You might go through hard times but you need to have some personal notes where you have a plan of your life. Being a woman is also know where you are going to. Personally because I have never written my personal goals before I lived with people's advice which is not bad but at a certain point you depend on it and you don't know how to make important decisions for your life or simply make the wrong ones often. Sometimes it is not bad to be stubborn. When things don't go the way you want you blame other people who counseled you instead of blaming yourself because you are responsible for your own mistakes. What I have learned as a woman is : Listen to people and choose what is best for you. If it works good! If it doesn't work at least you have learned something and assume your wrong decisions.

About Ignorance
Being every woman it means to me learn from my mistakes and my ignorance. These past years, I have learned in the hard way that ignorance is not an excuse especially that there are so many books out there and the internet with our dear friend Google nowadays. It's impressive how Google knows mostly everything!! I didn't know a lot about how to plan your life for example and Google will help in some ways. Sometimes I feel lazy to just sit and take times to do some researches. There are often solution for most of the issues that we can face. I have learned that ignorance is not only inexcusable but it also has consequences depending on the level of it: "O!? I didn't know!". It's ok to say I didn't know but guess what? You will have to live the rest of your life with the consequences of "I didn't know" The book didn't teach me that! A woman must know that it is important to read. As a woman I understand that I must take time to read. It's difficult but it can help and save a lot from some "Stupid" mistakes. (From personal experiences)

About Money!!!
Ok! I have to admit I was not good at managing my money. Imagine a woman who does not know how to properly manage her finance what a disaster! This is an issue that can affect negatively a couple and thank you for the Titanic sinking situation. Especially when I go to check my bank account and I am like:"Why did I really spend for this or  for that? That was not necessary!" well it's too late!
I think it takes a certain discipline to know when you have or do not have to buy something. What is important at the moment or not.
That's why I believe that we need a time to be on our own to learn certain habits before living or sharing your life with someone else. The best part is...I am still learning at least I know that I need to work on that issue. Money can break couples I mean it and  I read it many times. It's a serious issue!  If you have the same problem I invite  you to do like me : To start reading some books about how to manage your income and some good TV shows such as the Suze Orman's show and many others. By the way Google is here too! A woman is supposed to know how to manage her money for her household because it can be a real issue once married even single. We might come up with good tips to help other women who are facing the same issues. Some women are already master at money management (good! good!)  I am thinking how can I save, spend wisely and be productive. Yes a woman must be productive as well.

About my Emotion
A lady is a lady therefore it is important to take care of yourself emotionally and  physically. I guess compared to men, women are likely to be more sensitive when it comes to stress and emotion. Women must be workers (employees in an office or somewhere else) a mother, a wife...That's a lot on the plate! I wish men could understand it.
What I mean by taking care of myself emotionally is being able to control my emotion as much as possible: I am a very sensitive person when things tend to be the way I didn't expect to be then, comes the disappointment which can really affect me.
Fear is also an emotion that  has bad effects on health I realized that there is no way to get rid of fear. Nobody can because  we are humans and fear has many branches which are: Stress, anxiety, strong apprehension, being worried I mean you name it...I think, we will have to deal with some of its branches and all our life from a low to a high level. It just depends on our personalities. For instance, anybody can feel stressed before a presentation and that's ok because we are humans. The fear of rejection, and all the phobias. What I understand for me personally is to sit and try to find where or how did this feeling start from and what caused it because if I can get to the root of it, I might find solutions to work on it. Therefore, I decided that it is important to think in the way that I can try to be in control of my emotion or the disappointment or how to manage this stress... Sometimes I do my best to not be thinking too much on an issue. Don't carry the "world" on your shoulder. Sometimes I need to talk to my issues/ problems and tell them "You know what? Tonight I am sleeping peacefully. As for you, I will see your case tomorrow" because you need to sleep and recover from the day to better face the situation.
I like the picture of that woman below. This is so nice! She looks like a person in control of her emotion and she has a certain serenity. I really like it! This is what I want!
(Quote on the picture: "This is not what happen to you but rather your reaction to what happens to you that defines how you feel") From Patrick Leroux.com. This is a wonderful quote!

When dealing with stress I read some quotes that will emotionally strengthen me. When I am stressed I  look for some nice pictures too. I like it because it's like a window through you escape. You don't escape from your troubles you have to face them but sometimes a little break doesn't hurt ok? I do crochet I like crochet it really relaxes me it is good to find ways to relieve the stress, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=704ogDWMTu8   Interesting but the needle that she uses in this video is too thick. I guess it is the one that people mostly use here in the US  maybe I am wrong...Because I went to some stores and it was the same type of needle for crochet. The one that I use is thin and easy to work with it. The benefit of doing crochet is it gives you agile hands.
Another way to deal with stress: I listen to music, I read some Scriptures in my Bible (really important for my soul). Yet, I am still learning how to control emotions because I am a human being after all and nobody is perfect.
I also think that there are simple activities that can help too. Activities such as: Gym, going to the park, watch movies, learn a new language... Talk to somebody about your feelings, share how you feel it helps a lot to talk. Sometimes the person does not have to say something they can just listen to you. They don't need to be a family member (it's maybe better). Sick for advice you never know, people can come up with good ideas that can help (Remember Do not accept everything! Choose what you think is best for you). I mean to me, A woman should learn how to deal with emotion especially when she will have or have a family. I noticed with time that people feel easily comfortable to talk to me about their personal issues of life because I am a good listener. They do not feel judge they feel safe around me.

About Loneliness
The next thing I wanted to share how to deal with loneliness when you are alone or single. I will say get busy! Work on a schedule that will help you to not feel lonely and also take a time to enjoy the moment of being alone. Tomorrow you will have kids running everywhere and this is another step of your life coming (for those who are single). By the time you are alone, read some books or watch some videos DIY, tutorials. I personally need to read more books because I need to improve my English. I can easily write in French but English is still a challenge. Learn new things or things that you don't know: A new country what people do there. You never know you might go there for your vacations someday. Yes! learn a new language! Why not? You can learn it at home it can be useful who knows? Google can help!
Another example: Ladies do some of  you know how to put a tie on your man? I didn't know I was curious to know how they do it and I found this picture. You don't need to have a hubby or a boyfriend in order to know how to do it You never know if you will help someone somewhere...Someday. It's not easy but it's good to know a little bit.

About my Health
I decided at the beginning of the year that I will get back to gym/fitness. I just want to stay in shape and healthy. I like what Khloe Kardashian posted on her Facebook page. I found it so nice! To love your body is to take care of it and try to eat what is good for your health. To love your body it also means to me, to love myself. Let's have a healthy fun! This little quote means everything! It is important to take care of myself. I also read some articles about what to eat sometimes I have to admit I don't do everything as they say because sometimes it's too much and unrealistic. Conclusion, a woman must take care of herself.

 About Motherhood and Pregnancy

Something about being a woman: Motherhood and pregnancy. At school how pregnancy happens, well it is taught in Biology classes...I mean a little bit... About motherhood I don't know a lot I read some articles. For instance: I am learning how to take care of a newborn by watching some videos. I don't need to have a baby now but at least I know something about it a little bit. Few years ago an acquaintance asked me to take care of her baby and it was such a pleasant experience! First, I was a little bit concerned about my lack of knowledge and my skills I didn't know if I would be able to do it. The baby was little and so cute! Surprisingly I did a good job and I wish I could have this baby in my arms again. Yes! That little cute baby is now a cute little girl who is now talking and running everywhere.
I found that video interesting and the nurse explains everything for women who are pregnant and those who are new moms!
A video of how to care of your newborn baby. What to do and what to expect from a newborn.

Nice picture!! A pregnant woman with her daughter ready for her wedding wearing a crochet dress
I am reading what it means to be a pregnant woman as well. It is important to be informed at least because I am the kind of person who does not like surprises. Pregnancy can be difficult for some women and it can be a good experience for others so it's good to read about it. How to embrace the new body with the new person who is living in you. How to dress? It's not difficult at all but I wonder if it is easy to stay Posh while pregnant? (Wink)
I need to know about the new diet, how to eat healthy for the baby and me. I know some things cannot be taught they are just coming naturally but some needed to be read. For example: Women need to walk regularly and if possible a little bit of gym because it will help for the day of delivery. How to feel less stressed or tired or less nervous. Some women take classes for pregnancy and also to know how to "push" (This is the difficult part I am sure!) It's always good to know I am curious to know because it is a part of being a woman.
I really love this picture that I found! She is a beautiful pregnant woman
About My Everyday
What I have learned so far: To know more about myself and my personality. To me it's important and I am currently reading a book about Authenticity. We need to know who we are as a person. What I mean by that it's to concentrate on knowing my strength and my qualities. I agree with some speakers that we should not be thinking too much about our weaknesses. This is what I am doing now.

You live alone try to make your place a nice place to live you can change the decoration maybe twice in the year but you don't have to it is just a suggestion because I do it. I personally don't like routine to me it's boring!  I like to change things sometimes.
Looking through your window you will see how life is precious and beautiful!
(Picture from "Vivre Paris" Facebook page)
I love flowers to me, they are like women. They are sensitive and they smell good! I share with you one of my statement of everyday that I try to keep in my mind even when days are difficult: "Life is good! Be happy! Stay happy!" I truly believe these words I keep it on my tumblr page. Yet, we still deal with the ups and the downs which is normal but at the end of the day, you agree with me that Life remains the best precious gift! Life is beautiful! I love Life!
Yay!! How life is beautiful!
I like this picture!! I saw it at the train station in the city when I was out yesterday. This ballerina is wonderful!

About New Things and Activities
What about trying new things? Last year I wanted to take some classes of dance like Zumba and  Kizomba I didn't have time but I will definitely do it. There are other dances such as: Latin dances, African dances. Kizomba is a popular dance that originated in Angola, Africa. If you read my older post about Caraibean music ("Tribute to Caribbean Music") you will find out that Kizomba is a derivative of traditional African dance mixed with zouk (A dance from the French islands which also has an African origin). It's really sensual especially if you are not used to see it ...I have here a link about how to dance Kizomba. It looks like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8q3aQ6biaJQ
These two guys are professionals. It can look too sensual if you are not used to see this dance. I didn't have time at all but at least I know the prices and where to go. I will have a bag and a bottle of water  and be ready for it! (Smile) Dancing is not only good for your health but also for the figure and it is so much fun!
I want to take some painting classes. I like Arts I told you if you remember. My former correspondent (pen friend) was a sculptor. She always had interesting things to do and to share  with me I mean by that all her activities. At that time we had no Facebook so we used to write with a pen and a paper then we posted the envelope at the post office (Many of you know what I mean). Today we have email and to me email is so different. To me, it removes life or the essence of correspondence. I liked opening the envelopes read the mails or a postal card. I liked to see and hold on my hands the real pictures that they were sending to me. I miss that time a lot! It showed how your friend cared.
You can learn a music instrument. Try some classes and see how you feel. Few years ago I had some piano lessons!! I liked my teacher she was so nice such a humble person! She taught me some basic classes and I loved learning with her. I had so much fun I will definitely get back to some piano lessons. I was surprised I did well for the basic classes. I started playing simple songs already. I need it! I hope to know how to play piano better so I will be able to teach it to my children.
I also like to watch DIY and make up tutorials. There are usually interesting and you can save for little things. During my high school years, back home my mum sometimes called professional to paint our bedrooms. I looked how they did and I  asked my mum that I wanted to do it myself.
You can try new recipes at home I remember my sister liked to cut some recipes in magazine and keep them in a folder to try them in the weekends usually. But you can also go to a restaurant to try food that you have never eaten before. I saw this picture on the Facebook page of "Vivre Paris"
From Vivre Paris or Do it in Paris' Facebook
This little restaurant is in France at Le Marais in Paris if I remember right and they sell some French crepes there! I read it in the page of Vivre Paris Magazine! Look how nice pinky and girly this restaurant looks! I wish I could be there ordering my favorite crepes. I like to make my own crepes at home but sometimes I like to eat those that other people make. It's a little bit different. To me, it's ok to eat outside sometimes.

Henna: Something that I want to have done on my hand or arm and feet: The Henna Art! The henna is a plant and they make it a kind of tattoo. It' s an Arabic Art and in North Africa they do it a lot! (Some countries in West Africa do it as well) It doesn't stay forever on your skin it leaves with days but it's so nice! You can try it if you have never done it before. I did my research and I now know that there are some places where I can do it here. Back home it was easy to find places where to have it done. I also know people who did it themselves at home they just bought the material. I can't do it so I need people to do that for me. I want to have some on my hand and feet. I know that henna can have a brown sugar color or black color but I don't know if it has other colors. A woman should do things that she likes.
This is a nice one!
You can do shopping ( Spend wisely) I like to do shopping but sometimes I don't have to buy things I can go to look the new trends, home decoration, candles, soaps...
Don't hesitate to buy things that make you happy and which are also useful. I know there are always good deals. Like I said earlier that as women we are also supposed to know how to spend and save but they can also do things that make them happy.
You want to try or how to do new make up or hairstyle. Sephora and MAC they have so many good make up artists. When the list is full I can watch tutorial videos the ladies are doing a good job in sharing their knowledge and ideas on youtube.com.
Volunteering is important. I like to volunteer when I don't have a busy schedule. While I was volunteering for children I have learned so much!!! I really mean it. That was a good and pleasant experience! I helped children to read and do some homework.
I also have this link to share with you about this NGO accepted by the local government. It's in Africa and I like what they do and I associated with them since few years ago. The blog is in French but also in English in good parts. They tried to translate the best they could. The FUDOS NGO is in Burkina Faso a country of Africa. They work especially for children of destitute families, orphans and widows. They are mainly working in rural areas or poor neighborhood .I like their vision when I met them they asked me to be a member and I accepted to support them so whenever I can I send them what I can. They need help they are still dealing with some difficulties. Its explained in their page. If you are interested or curious to know you can visit their page here:
http://fudos-burkina.blog4ever.com/  Thank you to visit their blog and to think about them if you can

I sometimes like to look at some decoration Magazines. Last time I was thinking about how my mum used to show me another way to make a bed. I think it is good to know especially when you are or will be married. It simply makes a little spice in our lives that's all! We can sometimes change the way the bed is made put this or that for a decoration. You can change the theme. I know we can be busy and exhausted when we come back but a little difference can do a lot. For instance, you want to bring a little bit of African style in your room so be creative! You can do the same for your living room! I am thinking about changing everything but I always like to put something African because I am African first then I think oriental style why not?
I also like to read Magazines for women. I always learn something new such as how to organize your room and read other women's testimonies. I like to read some little beauty tips, advice about relationship and career.

About Career
I don't have a lot to say. Beside being a good mother which is going to be my first duty, I think that it is also important to think about my dream, my career and projects.  Talking to people who might have more experiences than me in the field that I am interested in pursuing, is really important. So far I noted good ideas from them but I have my own ideas as well. They can suggest other possibilities or opportunities. I don't want to close my mind. I definitely need a good mentor. Ask questions, discuss you never know what information you can get from them. If possible read how to handle your dream career as a woman, a mother and a wife. Think about being successful in whatever you do and that you inspire people through your life and career.

"In order to be irreplaceable, one must always be different"
                                            Coco Chanel

I like this picture I chose it from Harper Bazaar Magazine
  About Pets:
What I have learned with pet's story is to be ready. Taking care of a pet it's like taking care of a baby or a child. I used to have a pet in the past and it cost a lot: Her clothes, her medication, consultation to the vet her food and so forth. I didn't evaluate it until my puppy was growing. And another mistake: I didn't know the breed first I just thought it was a cute puppy. I needed a little dog I basically raised her with Google's articles which were obviously not enough. When I  first brought her at home it was cute cuddling  with it and sleeping with it and when it grew up my little dog became stubborn because I didn't raise her properly.
Instead of me walking her as usual she was then the one who made me running after her. She was unintentionally a good fitness coach since I was running every time. She was really strong I didn't have the control of the leash anymore even though she was a small dog. Everyday at the park it was embarrassing the neighborhood knew her name already especially at the Vet. They would always tell me: "This dog has been too spoiled" I felt so bad because I knew it was true. My bed was now her territory.  She was now in charge and dictating me everything in my own place! It was getting out of control. At the end, I had to find a way to give her to someone else who could handle this type of attitude and help. The person left with my dog I mean he stole my dog because he never brought it back to me. My baby was gone forever she was beautiful I guess he sold her on my back. The separation was difficult I got sad and felt guilty for many months after she left. I have learned from my mistake now I read some documents and I watch some TV shows about how to raise dogs.  So make sure that you are ready to get a furry friend or fishes...
This is a video and a website that I found funny and interesting on how to make a dog useful. (My dog was the same breed: A Jack Russell, a really energetic dog! I wish she could have been useful to me this way too) I deserve another chance with the same breed and I know I will do a better job than the previous experience.
Less troubles with cats maybe...Remember cats like attention so don't be surprised if you see them sleeping on your books and computer. I like cats too!

About Friendship:
To me, friendship is important but not as much as family is. Having friends is necessary to know your real personality how you react etc. I don't have many friends but from my own experience, I think that friends should share the same passions (I think the same thing for couples as well) It's going to be difficult to stay with someone or together if you have different passions. I also don't think I need many friends the few that I have are enough for the development of my social life. I learned patience and accept my friends 'characters, choices and opinion.
It is not easy especially when you have those who simply do not know how to say "I am sorry" instead they choose to disappear and call you back months later (I really don't understand why....). They sometimes don't understand how saying "I am sorry" is so important and simple it can appease an angry heart. How these simple words are difficult for some people to say! Personally, I do apologize to others when I am wrong. I am not scare or too proud to say I am sorry when I know I am wrong. However, I won't say I am sorry when I am right. Some of the friends do not like when you tell them the truth or the way you feel about their behavior toward you. It's difficult to deal with people who deny the way they act. I understand that the truth is not easy to accept especially when it is said in a certain way. I don't say I systematically accept criticism but I will take time to think about what is said and analyze it. If it happens to be true I will not be too proud to apologize because it saves the friendship. A woman should choose her friends and know how to manage her friendship.

 About Faith:
My faith is so important. When I encountered God nobody told me how He Himself revealed Himself to me that is why I have this strong conviction. For nothing in the world I will trade my Faith and my Love to God for something else. I wish that it will never happen. God is my Rock no matter what. Even when I do things that He doesn't like He has never forsake me instead He has always be there for me. My wish is to meet a man who loves God  as much as I do and maybe more. A faithful companion who will be on my side when it is time to pray my dear God at home in the morning and night.  As a woman I believe it is important to be a woman of Faith and a woman who knows that it is important to pray. I will have children and a husband that I will be praying for every single day. To me a woman should teach to her children how to pray it is so important nowadays. I want to be the virtuous woman described in the book of Proverb in the Bible. I pray that I can be this woman and wife.
If you are interested I  have some links of worship songs that I love and like to listen mostly every night. I have peace when listening to them. Maybe you will like them too!

That one has so many nice pictures. I love it! I love the lyrics:

"Draw Me Close To You" (English & French Version)

Matt Redman "10000 Reasons"
This one reminds me how much I should be thankful everyday and to thank God for all His goodness in my life. This is such a wonderful song!

(Hillsong) Darlene Zschech " At The Cross"

She also recorded it in French too. I thought it was amazing! I love her accent!

Hillsong "You Deserve" (God he Reigns)

Israel Houghton & New Breed "Alpha and Omega"

And this is how we worship God in Africa Beautiful worship song:
Sonnie Badu (From Ghana) "Wonder God" (God is a od of wonders)

Sonnie Badu: "Baba" (Translation is Dad in some of west African countries. God is a good Dad) I fell in love with that worship song the first time I watched it. Wonderful!!

About my English
Sorry for my English. English being my second language, I am still working on it. As you can see, my posts may have some little mistakes. I wish I could get help from somebody sometimes to improve my writing. Even though I am doing it on my own it doesn't stop me from writing. The issue of the language barriers or the translating way etc. It sounds like writing is a passion because I can be so busy but I still find a day to write something. My head is full of ideas to write about. My writing skill is definitely better in French but in English...I am working on it. I grew up writing and reading a lot (In French). I didn't live with my parents from the age of 8 or 9 years old. I was far in another country. There it was forbidden to complain to say how you feel and so forth. I was sad and my only option was then drawing and writing. I was good at drawing and my Art teacher was proud of me! I had so much imagination and  I even helped some of my classmates (male and female) for their drawing assignments. Drawing was my passion but they kill it in me. They told me to stop drawing that it will take me nowhere. Then I totally stop drawing and I concentrated more on writing and reading. I could be reading like two books the same day. My favorite place to read was outside where I could hear the birds singing, feel the wind and feel the sun. Just a quiet place where nobody would distract me at all. I hope that by next year my English writing skill will be improved but I do not want a sophisticated English at all. I want it simple because I am a simple person and anybody will be able to understand my thoughts.

About being a Lady
Being a lady...To me, it maybe takes time but I think it is a desire to be so and it is within us. It also means to me learning some skills and keep good manner.
For instance, I watch some tutorials yes I am still learning how to improve my make up skill.
In this video a woman is teaching how to walk with high heels. She shares some tips  and I found it interesting. I do sometimes but not every time.
I like this video I didn't know some of the tips that she shares I learned it on my own. I like to wear heels sometimes and I like to have a relaxed style too. Still I think that heels give more elegance to women.
Louboutin's picture
"Shoes transform your body language and attitude. They lift you physically and emotionally"

What I meant last time by: "A lady is a lady"? That statement is what I often hear in my mind. I meant by that a woman should act like a lady.  Away from the idea of saying that we are the perfect personality. To me the definition of a woman is the finest creature that God has made who is soft, charming and caring. We have our different personalities and tastes. For instance, I am a very patient woman when I want to. I can also be caring, nice and lovely. However, I just  don't like when people fool me around I can be naïve at a certain point  but when I realize that something is not clear to me I don't trust anymore because I am a really self protective person.
Failures and mistakes make us strong when we want to change. What is your personality? You need to know what kind of woman you are. I am curious to read Steve Harvey's book. I am sure he gives some interesting tips about how a woman should behave.
Nice picture! I like this picture of Ashanti. Enjoying the sea
About Vacations
What about saving money for some good vacations somewhere. Going on a trip it's always good. Do something in or out of town. Maybe a trip out of the country to discover other people with their cultures and new things. I personally like it! I want to go on vacations in some islands or do Safari in a country of Africa. This is what I want to do and I will be doing it. It's good to be adventurous sometimes right? The world is a wonderful place! As a woman I think I can enjoy life, have good times and some dream vacations!

This song below is from Elsa Lunghini who is a French singer. She started her music career really  early. I liked the song:" A la Meme Heure Dans Deux Ans" and I still love it. It was released I think in the late 80's early 90's. That was one of the song of my childhood's favorites. Elsa Lunghini was one my favorites singers too. I really liked the cover of her album: She is running in the water and she has her dog with her. Wonderful! It is such a nice picture! I have never forgotten that cover she looked happy and free!!

"A La Meme Heure dans Deux Ans" is translated in English as: " At The Same Time in Two Years". Because in the song  Elsa is a teenager and she talks to her friends. They had a nice summer together: They rented a house out of the city close to the sea and they had so much fun there. At night they would be singing and dancing around the fire.  They would be walking in the nature, they would also have some bike rides...Then, the Summer is done it's over and  they are all going back to their different cities where they live and study. So, Elsa is asking if they will have a same Summer "At The Same Time in Two Years?" She also wonders if they will be able to meet again and if they will still have the same type of friendship? Because you know people change...
At that time there was no social media no Facebook. They communicated either by phone or by  mail (By post). I really love it! I hope you like the song and Paris! Who knows? You will probably go  there this Summer.Nice pictures from "Vivre Paris" I especially chose these particular ones)

I remember last year I talked with a life coach and something that she recommended me to do was to create a vision board. Interesting right? Many people do that. On my vision board I put everything that I like. Things or dream that I would like to happen in my life, where I want to go. The vision board is supposed to be like  a visual motivation. So whenever I see the pictures that I put on my vision board I will be thinking about how to make them happen. To me a woman should have a vision for her life too. I will probably show you my vision board on a next post...

"It's the fire in my eyes,
And the flash of my teeth,
The swing in my waist,
And the joy in my feet.
I am a woman
Phenomenally"
Maya Angelou, Phenomenal Woman

This is a wonderful part of Maya Angelou's poem for women. I like this part and I wanted to share it with you. I especially love when she says: "I am a woman phenomenally". Yes, I agree with her that I am a phenomenal woman! What about you?
I could not resist her picture!(Ashanti) It's wonderful!
I will definitely keep believing in myself and I hope you do too! I will stay positive and life will be like these colorful balloons in the air. No matter what happens I want to stay positive. I am special and so you are! "Being Every Woman" to me is me being able to set some goals for my life, manage the stress, make wise decisions as much as possible and use my time wisely. It's also being me and only me. To know what are my talents. I don't need to be someone else. I am ok with who I am the way God has created me. I have some dreams that I want to realize. I will keep working more on my strengths, my qualities and know myself more.
To finish, Being Every Woman to me, it's the ability to be a woman who will strive to be a good wife and a good mother in the future which should be the first thing to do. Then, I will be working on my dreams, my projects how can I positively impact people's lives: Humanitarian, what to do for my country and my continent I know it will surely happen. I believe that Women are powerful people they can initiate change too. These are my thoughts I don't know about yours you don't have to agree with me.
What does it mean for you to be every woman?

Women are like flowers. They like care and attention. Women are charming. I am happy I am a woman! (Smile)

I post here some little videos of me where I share what I like or like to do. There are really short I could not show you everything just to have a little idea of what I like.
I am sorry for the quality and the sound. I don't really like to make videos of me talking I am not used to it. I feel it's a little bit awkward but that's ok! There is always a first time in everything!

This picture I don't remember when I took this picture maybe 3 years ago. I wanted to show you how the raphia (This vegetal fibers) can decorate a table as well.
This raphia on the table was worked with hands only.
This picture below is blurred. I am sorry about that! I put some cards of Gabon on a raphia. Sometimes I like to see the natural landscape .
If you notice I don't show you Libreville the capital city. Why? Because the capital city is...it's a disappointment. However, the real Gabon it's my favorite! To me going to the village during the vacations was also exciting as much as going to Europe because it was so different! My dad wanted us to know our culture first before leaving. I miss these beautiful and natural life and I will certainly go there. I need to hear the sound of the river not far from our houses, the birds singing in the mangrove. How wonderful it was!! I need it!

I love my country so much! Gabon is my land. It's not a perfect country but this is where I am from. It is such a rich and beautiful country no wonder why it is called the "Earth's last Eden."
I made that video for my previous post on "Memories of Gabon" few years ago I felt like doing something like that. It was not perfect I am still learning how to make it .
Whenever I listen to this beautiful song of Oliver Ngoma (A great artist from Gabon) "Nge" it gives me so much emotion... I think about my people who is going through a lot! I just hope something new someday...I don't have many pictures but this is what I have. I also hope some of you will visit it someday... As you can see I am still trying to make videos. There are not perfect but I wanted to share more than a video
To me, my culture and my land mean a lot! This is my root. I am glad I am an African woman from Gabon.
I like music: the 50's, 60's like Motown, the Beach Boys, The Beatles...But mostly Worship songs and folklore of any continent or countries. Especially the African ones. If somebody want to buy me a CD then he/she should choose for me the local music of their country the folklore ones.

Yes, it really feels good to be a woman after all! I like this picture!
Picture of Harper Bazaar Magazine. Nice picture! What a serenity!

Now that I am done with my post on "Being Every Woman" I hope you like it and it inspires you too! Thank you for reading.
