I Am Kenyan

I just wanted to write a little post about what happened recently in Kenya 148 students were killed. I don't know if I should post the pictures ...Those pictures shocked me I don't think I should. There is a lot to say about this evil act but I am not a specialist when it comes to analyze such situation but clearly Christians are no longer safe in this world. We should pray for Christians. Second thing that I notice is that the issue of terrorism is spreading. It looks like nobody has control over it and probably our world is no longer safe...I don't know... I am just sharing my thoughts. This is the last thing that Africa needs right now.
People of Kenya I just want you to know that you are not alone in this pain. Africa is supporting you. We cry with you we mourn with you. What happened to you can happen anywhere else in the continent and in the world. I read there will be three days of mourning so our prayers and thoughts go to families who lost their children.
Really sad pictures...

After reading what this jihadist group of terrorists did in a Christian University at Garissa in Kenya as African, I could not be indifferent. I am so touched about this recent news. It is so sad to read that African people are killing each other for reasons that really....Are there any reasons to kill innocents? Once again my thoughts and prayers go to Kenyan families. This is Such an evil act!
I am surprised to see no words of support, no reactions from other African "leaders" or "presidents". Most Africans are waiting to hear from their "presidents".
Few months ago dear African  "leaders" you went to France to walk for freedom of speech (A Freedom of speech that is still questionable in some of your countries) democracy and freedom of press "Je Suis Charlie". You went to support the French people which we totally understand  because 12 people (journalists) were killed. It was on TV news everywhere every hours. I remember it as if it was yesterday. I have to be honest we (Most of Africans) were all surprised to see you there because that act contradicted what you do in your own countries ( I am not getting into this discussion now because it involves politics and I do not like politics). Unfortunately among them was the "president" of my country Gabon.
However, on that very day when you went to walk in France, Boko Haram destroyed and burn an entire village in Nigeria. What did you do? What did you say? Nothing. This is so sad! On that day women in Nigeria were rapped and killed along with children and men. Approximately 1 million died that day. Today many of them do not have a place to stay peacefully they even live in fear. I am not saying that 12 lives is nothing compared to almost a million. Yes, there is no comparison when we talk about lives for sure but still one million it's a lot right? Nobody really talked about that. The international TV News talked about it few days later as if it was not that important. They barely talked about it I remember that of course they were Africans even worse they were from villages...so Who really cares? Ha! Dear Africa why do people treat you this way? I believe someday it's going to be fine...
We do not forget that day dear African presidents. That was a great support from you but...now...What about Africa your own continent? What about Kenya today? What about our brothers and sisters from Kenya?

Recently something similarly happened in Tunisia in a museum and people died...Tunisia is in Africa and we know that but I do not recall seeing something special happened to show support as well. Now this is what happened in Kenya...Are you going to walk too like you did in France dear "leaders"? I mean showing support to the Kenyan people and their president Uhuru Kenyatta as an African Nation that we are? You know the same way the support was shown to the French president Francois Holland in France which we understand. Solidarity is so important nowadays we all need it. Let's say...It won't happen...If you don't, how are we supposed to see you dear "leaders"?  Well... Let's see. The world is watching...
To those who read French you might want to read this article from yahoo.fr I thought it was interesting to see that many people feel the same way: https://fr.news.yahoo.com/terrorisme-les-internautes-denoncent-l-indifference-generale-apres-l-attaque-au-kenya-164235104.html?vp=1
Anyway! That was a short post just to say that You people of Kenya You are in my heart, all Africans 'hearts
Our "presidents" were Charlie few months ago was it wise? I don't know but that was their decision  that was their choice but I am Kenyan and most of Africans in the continent are "Kenyans" in regard to what happened
RIP dear students. May God Almighty gives Justice for your Souls and may God give comfort to your families.
This is what I just wanted to say
