Carnet de Voyage is simply a description of the "Voyage" of my life: Where I am from, where I have been where I want to go. It's also a description of what I like to do, my favorite music. Simplement un "voyage de la Vie.

More Thinking// my Thoughts and Analysis
Today i wanted to think and discuss more about what i started last time post. My question was:
who is Right or Who is Wrong? Who is Strong or Who is Weak?
I said in some situations especially when it comes to surviving a catastrophic situation, nobody is Right nobody is wrong. Nobody is Strong nobody is weak. When it comes to that statement :" To be or Not to Be" nobody is right and nobody is wrong. if you choose to BE then there are decisions that you will have to make especially when you come from places or countries ( that are not really countries) where rule of Law, Justice, Healthcare do not work. "Countries " where governments fail its citizens. Governments that don't care about the well being, the safety and protection of its citizens.
Another example:
Nobody was right and nobody was wrong to make the decision to either jump from the two tours of the World Trade Center. When 9/11 happened the people who was caught up in an emergency survival situation. If we go by the fact that give up to live as a believer is wrong then I want to say that when 9/11 happened that judgment doesn't apply at all. Therefore nobody was right nobody was wrong to choose to jump or not to do it. Nobody was weak nobody was strong. Those who decided to stay inside the building to fight for their lives to death. The one who , like the man we saw in the pictures in the air falling down the tour. No there is no judgment here to make.
When the Titanic sank nobody was right or wrong and nobody was Strong or weak. Those who chose to jump to death in the cold ocean before the ship went down and the ones who waited to go down in the deep waters hanging on the ship. Some survived but many died. If you choose to BE. You have to make some decisions that you don't necessarily like and explain. how can you. BE when you live in countries that do not respect that statementbecause life means nothing.
You choose to be when you think about a better future you want to give to your children.
Me thinking about all that. i perfectly understand that a country should not welcome an excessive number of people from the outside. My country is a perfect example of an African country who welcomes so many for a small population. The recent statics reports that half of the population is outsiders. Yes that's only what is reported but they don't tell you those illegally in the country. we are one of the countries in the world overwhelmed by people of outside but you don't see my people taking machetes and running after them. Yes we are not happy about it but we don't run after them in the streets. Why? Because we understand that our government is the one who has a very bad immigration policy and they are failing us.
I have so much to say about that because yes, on one hand i understand that we must go back home to fix our countries. In my case for instance? my family has done the part they could. As a results, i paid too and it gave no results. I am sad for people like my Dad who gave Everything for this ungrateful fight. Most of the people who were in this political movement lost everything!
I remember the times when my father would go villages after villages. Day and night he would even sleep there knowing that he had his job. He had to go back in town to get ready to fly ✈️ the days after across the continents. Why? Because he was taking his time to go teach in my native language to the people in villages their RIGHTS and why they should aspire for the change. But you know what? It didn't work. Not because all of them didn't understand but because some chose the easy way but bc others were facing resistance and threats of the power. So It didn't work.
Everyday i take time to read and watch the news from my country too. i see the pain of my people. it pains me but the same people make the same wrong decisions and choices. How can i fix it when it is consciously done? when i sat down and think more about the situation of my country i understand that the people is themselves responsible. I can't fix a poor mindset. I can't fix people who intentionally choose to make the same wrong decisions and choices over and over again. When you leave the cave that Plato describes in the allegory of the cave from his book The Republic, you wonder why others have that difficult or simply refuse to make the decision to do the same thing! Please just Leave the cave! Come to the light ( the light of knowledge, enlightenment...) but some people will say :"we only know the Cave"
That's when I understood how blessed I was to be born in a family where I was educated every day at family dinner time about what is right and what'is wrong for a country.
Every day some courageous Africans show their faces on YouTube, Facebook and use their platform, their phones to educate to denounce what happens in our countries but the people decide to close their eyes and ears. Some don't even care they just pursue their own happiness inside or outside theur countries. Perfectly knowing the situation.
So i am.asking you:
Does it worth dying for a people like that? a people who intentionally choose to live in denial, victim mentality, begging...but at the same time too proud to admit when they are wrong.
What some of us are doing to speak like we do in our channels, blogs it is not safe for us either. Some cyber political activists are talking, talking and talking to awake consciousness but nothing changes@
Same bad hearts, same selfishness, same tribalism and you think I, as a person can fix it??
Some years ago after posting a thoughtful message on the Facebook wall of a political group of my country, i received threats on my personal inbox. Death threats just for speaking the truth. Threats from who? the people of the system ruling of course. I understood that we were not close to a democracy at all. I had enough of what we were going through. I think i was so naive to do it. Someone of that system sent me a death threat. I had to call my family to let them know about the situation.
Years later on during the presidential campaigns I posted another thoughtful post on the situation of my country and that time I received a private call with death threats again. That person intentionally called me to scare me. He told me they have the capacity to find me wherever I was. And trust me they are usually not joking. That afternoon, I was peacefuly sitting at my place in Dallas TX minding my business when i saw a phone call with a local number when I picked it up i got a very Deep strange voice who told me they could find me and they will end my life if I didn't stop talking about what was happening back home. That day I felt like my heart would stop beating. The fear that caught me was strong but i responded to them that i wasn't afraid. After that person hanged up, I rushed downstairs to ask for help to trace where that call was coming from exactly. Guess what? it was in Texas too
So imagine my fear. I didn't call my family i didn't want to worry them but i was so scared. Instead I call my political activist friend in Canada. he confessed to me that sometimes they send people. He got two surprise visits at his home as he was coming back from his classes bc he was teaching at university but he was also doing martial arts and it helped him a lot.
I was living in fear for few weeks until I realized that i they were only calling me to scare me and to make me stop talking.
When i talk about my friend who was teaching in Canada. He was making a good life but he was doing his best to do something to fix my country his country too but guess what? It didn't work. He was often telling me I do all that for the next generation of my country.
Still the year after I went to Amnesty international bc i wanted to report the injustice done on my people back home but again it didn't work. It took me nowhere. Also later, that same year, I went with some political activists of my country to the Capitol in Washington Dc to go meet some US representatives to talk about the people killed at the headquarter of the main opponent who won the presidential election that same month. That was for me the first time that I entered the Capitol. I never thought to be going there in my life but the desire for freedom, we went there because we tried to fix my country but again it didn't work. We attended a hearing for south Sudan and that's when I saw for the firsttime sitting there Ms. Karen Bass who told us she already heard and knew about the situation of my country but as a good Democrat we got not much from her.
We later on had to organize and attend some meetings with some political people of Washington DC
I just went there to listen but i can be honest to say that the Reds are better listeners than the Blues. I wasn't into them but i saw their politics were better than the 🫏 blue. All that and i precise I am.not in politics or activism i am just a citizen who has a love for her country and the desire for freedom and justice ⚖️
There is a saying back home that goes: a finger alone cannot wash the whole face You need all the fingers of your hands to do it " What it means is, Dear Africans our capacity to fix our countries will only start when we support each other in this fight. When we will understand that we fight and struggle with the same system if you have enough of this mass illegal and legal African immigration among each other then name the presidents of these countries! Tell them to come and pick up their people. Maybe they will feel embarrassed and will do something about it.
All to say what? To say some of us are trying or tried to fix our countries but it is not working because the biggest wall of resistance that we in fact are facing is our own people'smindset. That conclusion came to me after a long observation and analysis. I grew up in political environment. I heard i drunk i ate politics when i was young all my life bc of my father. So Don't think that we are just hooligans running away we are also those who try to fight the way we can. Because trust me, the day those systems will close access to the world and means of international communications then we, the so called Hooligans will be the voice of and for the No voices stuck there bc we know how those systems work. We will be the voices of those silenced there in our countries. So trust me, We need everyone to make this world. We are try the best we can to fix maybe it is
Not perfect yet
I know some people whose family members were involved in politics and reject it with all their heart and strength. I mean for me, I have no issues with it bc i know how important it is. if I know a close one who wants to do politics I will definitely encourage him or her and supporting him only if that person is not embracing the woke agenda, the liberals, the Palestinian flag, the leftism ideology, the modern feminism, the victim mentality... As long as he or she is a real patriot, someone who defends his flag and loves his country and that is enough for me. Thank you for reading.
If you have time i want you to watch this speech. That lady put me on my feet as she was telling the truth that many have no courage to speak today. That was so interesting
